HOW DID YOU MEET?

Scotty and I met on a 3 day modelling job and it was just him and I, we laughed so much together and also had the deepest conversations. We had time to really get to know each other, connect and build a really beautiful friendship! Everything just flowed when we were together and our love naturally grew for one another.

WHAT ARE YOUR THREE FAVOURITE ATTRIBUTES OF YOUR PARTNER?

The three things I really value about Scotty is his determination, honesty and generosity. He’s one of those guys you want in your corner and someone you can always rely on.

WHO PROPOSED AND HOW?

Scotty proposed to me on a very significant date for us. We were away on a family holiday and he just said let’s go for a drive, I didn’t think anything of it We drove to this really stunning lookout at this beautiful beach and went for a walk in nature together, we were walking, laughing hand in hand and he said some really beautiful words and next minute was down on one knee and I was balling my eyes out. Easiest ‘Yes’ of my life. Our proposal had so many elements to it, but all in all it was very special and very ‘us’.

WHERE DID YOU FALL IN LOVE WITH YOUR DRESS AND WHY?

I went to the Burleigh Made With Love store and was so in love with the aesthetics and of course the champagne on arrival, my two girlfriends and I picked some options that we thought would be good to try on and then Rosie the stylist pulled out this dress that had just arrived and never been tried on in store before, and it was one I don’t think I would have picked from the rack but she looked at me and said I just had to try it on. She’s good at what she does because I put it on and knew I didn’t have to try anymore! I felt so beautiful and elegant. It’s so crazy because I’ve never been a girl who dreams about a wedding and what dress I’d wear, but I looked back on an old journal I had from maybe 2 years ago and I drew a wedding dress that was no word of a lie the Alfie dress!

WHAT WAS THE BEST MOMENT FOR YOU AT YOUR WEDDING?

It is so hard to pinpoint my favourite part of our wedding because the whole day was pure magic! Walking down the aisle towards my husband will be an image I’ll never forget. Being outdoors sharing our vowels and our love with all our closest friends and family was just so so special. There’s nothing I would change from the day, I loved every second!

WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU TELL OTHER BRIDES?

My advice to future brides would be to trust the process and go in it with zero expectations because you will be blown away by how everything just falls into place and how much fun you’ll have on the day!

ANY STANDOUT VENDORS YOU'D LOVE TO SHOUT OUT?

Stand out vendors would 100% be my Wedding Coordinator, Laura (@rose.events.baliweddings), I didn’t think I would need a wedding planner but oh my gosh I’m so glad I had her! She was my rock in planning the wedding and also executing my vision for the day! I knew I just wanted to have fun and not think about a thing on the day and she made that possible! She was so on the ball so I didn’t have to be! Highly recommend!
