What to expect within your appointment
Your MWL appointment provides complete privacy, with the entire studio reserved exclusively for you. Explore our full made to order collection alongside one of our dedicated bridal stylists, who will support you with everything from styling to fit.
Enjoy a glass of bubbles as our expert stylist guides you toward the perfect dress to complement your wedding vision and body shape. We recommend selecting 4–6 dresses to try on during your appointment.
PREPARING FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT
We encourage you to do a little research beforehand to identify the designs you’d like to try. Bringing undergarments similar to what you plan to wear on your wedding day can also be helpful, and we recommend choosing nude options whenever possible.
HOW DOES SIZING WORK?
During your appointment, our trained stylists will determine the most suitable size for you based on your measurements. When you’re ready to order, your stylist will record the agreed upon size in your file. Please note that we offer split sizing if your bust, waist, and hip measurements fall across different standard sizes.
Our in boutique sample dresses & separates are available in sizes 6 to 18, with a limited selection of styles offered outside this range. We strive to accommodate a variety of body types, so if you have any size specific questions, please don’t hesitate to contact our customer care team at hello@mwlbride.com.
FITTINGS & ALTERATIONS
Our dresses are crafted to the closest standard size based on your measurements, so additional alterations are typically needed to achieve the perfect fit. While we take your height and heel height into account, you may still choose to adjust elements such as the length or straps. We’re happy to recommend trusted local seamstresses and suggest including alterations in your overall budget. Second fittings are available where necessary to ensure everything fits just right.
WHEN TO PLACE ORDERS
MWL offers both standard and priority order options, depending on how close your wedding date is. To ensure perfect timing, please discuss your timeline with your stylist during your appointment. Placing your order early will help keep the process smooth and stress free.
